Biography

I am a third-year Computer Science PhD student at Cornell University, advised by Prof. Steve Marschner. Currently, I am working on yarn-based cloth simulation and its application in the design and fabrication of 3D textiles.

Before joining Cornell in 2019, I studied Computer Science, Statistics and Fine Arts at the University of Waterloo, where I worked with Prof. Christopher Batty on geometric modeling and processing with applications in fluid simulation. I have also interned at Ubisoft Toronto as a rendering programmer.

While not in front of a computer, I enjoy analog photography, archery, snowboarding and playing musical instruments (ukulele, piano, Guzheng, vocal, …). I am also a huge theater fan.
