Games made with Unity: July 2026 in review

July was a big month for Unity developers. Thousands joined us in Korea for Unite Seoul, where we announced Unity 7 – a direct continuation of Unity 6, no breaking changes. Highlights on the road to Unity 7 include a default Fast Enter Play Mode and Surface Cache GI, which brings real-time global illumination to the Universal Render Pipeline (URP) with no baking required. We also put together a reel of Korean MWU games for the keynote.
