Give a man a counterexample, and he will question his instincts for a day. Teach a man to find counterexamples, and he will be trapped in mental agony forever wondering if his inability to find a counterexample is a counterexample for his skillfulness in finding counterexamples.
(Re-sharing for the EU and Asian timezones.) You've probably seen a bunch of smart people say "You don't have to look at the code" etc. Instead of "hot takes", I recommend looking at case studies & field reports. Below, I offer some examples of finding bugs through code review.

A big company can get a huge start in a new domain by burning tokens and cloning the innovations of a smaller company. What does this mean for open source? Convex self-hosted is staying open but our specification/test suite is private and we probably won't open the more
