A Little Workholding Gem

It's just the right size for projects which are on the smaller side of medium, which is all I do as a hobbyist working by hand. I bought the hardened version, I doubt I'll ever have to sharpen it. The tenacity of its grip on end-grain pine is astounding.

This planing stop is small but is shaped so well that it holds whatever I put against it, from wide boards to small round dowels. One can easily put it on a benchdog and then have the freedom to move or remove it. It's great!

Best Addition to My Workbench

I am very satisfied with this planing stop. Having good work holding and bench appliances to secure work is just as important I think as a good hand plane or chisel. This stop grips well and is well machined. I would highly recommend this tool.

No fuss

Works as it's supposed to. Holds better than any of the improvised stops i've used over the years, and the screw mount makes for trivially easy installation. Mine is just screwed right to the benchtop until I get around to doing something fancier.
