still mourning the lack of Armand's kitten fangs this season

also still on my learning project where I challenge myself to only use three medium to large textured brushes and not go below a certain brush size to get better at seeing the shapes instead of relying on details and clean lines so much. and I also have a time limit. it’s very fun I’m learning a lot about light and shadows I recommend it if you’re like me and are a perfectionist who spends three years on every detail

my girlfriend said she’d buy me something in florence for my birthday and the day before we went to uffizi she bought me a beautiful leather sketch book (one of the ones in soft leather with a leather string to tie around it) and its dark purple and high quality paper and I love it so much I got to bring it to the gallery and sketch some sculptures which I love doing and used to do all the time to practice anatomy and lighting at the art museum in a city I moved to when I was 22. shoutout to my girlfriend it’s such a beautiful gift i’ll take it everywhere and draw AND you can take out the book and put in another when you finish it so I can keep it forever

if anyone was planning to get a tailbone injury and then get on a flight that gets delayed on the runway adding 2 hours to your time in the plane, and also when you finally take off there’s a lot of turbulence, I would advise against it. it’s actually not as fun as it sounds
