Adaptive icon support in PWAs with maskable icons
Featured projects
Mozilla Firefox
At Mozilla, I was trusted with bringing support for Progressive Web Apps to the new Firefox Preview browser for Android. I shipped support for maskable icons before other browsers and added many other features.
Microsoft Loop
Working at Microsoft, I built up the user experience for the collaboration app Loop from the ground up. I implemented many core features like dark mode, the home page, page selection, and draft ideas. I mentored over 50 engineers and raised code quality standards across the company.
Maskable.app
The leading tool for working with maskable icons. I built this app alongside implementing the web feature into Firefox and writing about it for CSS Tricks. It uses the Canvas API and vanilla JavaScript to help developers build the best PWAs.
