summer-bucket-list-2026
Let's ignore the fact that this blog has been sitting untouched for months and get right to the point. It's time to write a proper summer bucket list.
Yes, it's already July 13. That may seem like an odd time to start planning the season, but summer is far from over, people. There are still long evenings, warm days and plenty of sunshine left to enjoy (with UV protection, of course).
I don't want to see a pumpkin for another 2 months!
Besides, I've already survived the year's first major heatwave. That has to count for something. So, what's left to do?
Get vegan ice cream at an ice cream shop- Go to an outdoor concert
- Have a picnic at a park
- Visit a farmer's market
- Make a pizza from scratch
- Visit the beach (stretch)
- Go mini-golfing
- Go birdwatching
- Visit a new bookstore
- Explore a nearby town
- Try a new coffee spot
- Checkout a new thrift store
Try a new restaurant- Finish a sci-fi series (Battlestar Galactica season 2 in progress)
- Read a giant book (Perhaps Stephen King's 11/22/63?)
- Finish a video game
- Build a small coding project
- Listen to the entire Silversun Pickups discography
- Watch a cult classic
- Spend an entire day offline
End of Log.
