The Null Space

Lately I’ve been going back to early 2010s internet. Before COVID, before influencers. People shared things because they liked them, or because they were thinking about something and wanted to put it somewhere. It wasn’t polished. Videos were low quality, blogs wandered, and people were often very awkward. It felt more human & authentic.

Now everything's kind of the same. Same tone, same high quality staged photos, a lot of the same recommendations pulled from whatever’s circulating on TikTok.

So this is a small experiment. A reintroduction of imperfection and awkwardness. A small attempt to move things in the opposite direction.

This blog exists because I wanted a place to log what I’m reading, what I’ve enjoyed, what I've accomplished, what I’m trying to understand a little better. I’m not particularly strong at writing or articulating things clearly, which is part of the reason to do it at all.
