My pet peeve is when people say “early” or “late 2000s,” so I’m making this PSA:

It is still the “early 2000s” as we speak. Right now, this is the “early 2000s,” and it won’t be the “late 2000s” for another 800 years or so, at which point we’ll all be dead.

Please, stop calling 2009 the “late 2000s” unless you want to make people think you’re a time traveler who failed history class.
