You can print, export, or copy links to share with other key team members in your business.

    Before you begin

Your sales summary reporting can be accessed from the Square Dashboard and the point of sale apps. Controls for metrics, locations, grouping and filters are accessible via the blade from your Square Dashboard that opens from the right-hand side. Open this view by clicking on the controls at the top of the report. Metrics now also have definitions attached to them, helping you understand what any given metric means.

To view accurate sales data, consider the following:

    • Ensure all transactions have completed and settled.

    • The sales summary report only includes completed (closed) orders and does not include partial payments or deposits.

    • Sales summary numbers may differ from other reports (like Payments or Team Sales) due to different calculation methods and timing.

    • Sales data may take a few minutes to appear in your report.

You can also view definitions with help mode. Learn how to Use help mode with reports.
