Network Security Toolkit (NST) is a bootable ISO image (Live USB Flash Drive) based on Fedora 44 providing easy access to best-of-breed Open Source Network Security Applications and should run on most x86_64 systems.

The main intent of developing this toolkit was to provide the security professional and network administrator with a comprehensive set of Open Source Network Security Tools. The majority of tools published in the article: Top 125 Security Tools by INSECURE.ORG are available in the toolkit. An advanced Web User Interface (WUI) is provided for system/network administration, navigation, automation, network monitoring, host geolocation, network analysis and configuration of many network and security applications found within the NST distribution. In the virtual world, NST can be used as a network security analysis, validation and monitoring tool on enterprise virtual servers hosting virtual machines.

  • nst-38-13644.x86_64.iso = 4.8 GB (= 4769114112 bytes = 4.442 GiB), it doesn't fit onto a 4.7 GB DVD+R(W) (capacity = 4.377 GiB).

  • I've been using NST as my primary OS for almost 10 years now, and I couldn't be happier with it. The networking tools it provides makes troubleshooting networks a breeze, and the Fedora base makes it suitable for more run of the mill tasks like office work and web browsing. The WUI makes it easy for me to remotely manage my servers, and the development team provides fantastic support. All in all an awesome product, way to go!

  • Great OS to use along with a Pen Testing OS like Kali or BackBox! Not so good for the standard home user but if you are serious about its abilities then it is well worth investing in the Pro version as well!!! GREAT WORK!

  • It saves my time. highly recommended

  • Excellent program.Very easy and simple to use.
