In the past, I’ve been a bit self-concious about how/what I posted on my site. I believe there’s some part of my readership that comes to my site specifically for infosec-related stuff. So anything NON-infosec that I post is something that they may see on my site, or in their RSS reader and cause them to lose interest in my site because it’s no longer just the infosec stuff they want to see.

Not long ago, I was publishing a lot of my “non-infosec” stuff as “notes” rather than as formal “posts”, but this was not the right way to think about things. Notes are meant to be short-form micro-blogs afterall. So now, I’ve created a separate infosec-only RSS feed and now a special blogs page just for things tagged as infosec. I want to lean into my IndieWeb nature, and write about everything, but I don’t want to alienate the part of my readership that is only interested in infosec stuff (and vice versa tbh). So, I’ve added these things. Hope y’all enjoy! 🧡
