The shark XML namespace <shark:TAG></shark:TAG> defines custom elements for XML files (notably RSS feeds) on shellsharks.com. It’s origins and purpose can be traced here.

Custom Elements

• summary: A summary of a post, contained within the RSS <generator><item> definition. It is commonly the post’s excerpt. It replaces the conventional, RSS-standard <description> element for use within the RSS’s web-viewable feed.
