Astrophotos from Saint Vrain State Park
We camped last night at Saint Vrain State Park. It was cold, but very nice otherwise. With a Bortle of 5.9, it’s not much better than my house, but it has far fewer trees and other things in the way. I set out to capture three targets.

Monkey Head Nebula
The first target was the Monkey Head Nebula. I’m pretty happy with how this went. If I’d known how the Angel Nebula was going to turn out, I would have spent more time collecting data on this.

Angel Nebula
The next target was the Angel Nebula. I need to find out what went wrong here, but I’m thinking that this is too faint of a reflection nebula for the Dwarf 3, especially in this light-polluted area.

Jellyfish Nebula
Finally, I tried to get the Jellyfish Nebula. This turned out okay, but again, I wish I had devoted more time to this and less time to the Angel Nebula.
