Prosper UK

Growth. Opportunity. A country that works.

A movement for the millions who want politics to match the ambition of the country. We’re doing things differently. Not a party. Not a think tank. Built beyond Westminster, with the ideas and reach to shape what comes next.

We are proud to launch Prosper UK, a movement founded on a simple truth: there is a clear gap in British politics, and millions of voters feel politically homeless. We want to bring those people together, take the conversation beyond Westminster, and build a national movement rooted in listening, enterprise and serious policy.

The UK can only truly prosper with an open, competitive, pro-enterprise economy where hard work is rewarded, people can save for a home, start a business, and pass something on to the next generation.

At a time when some claim populism of the left and right is inevitable, we reject that view. We believe there is an urgent space for practical, pro-business politics that unites rather than divides, that stands up to both the left and the populist right, and that refuses easy answers and empty promises.

As moderate conservatives, we are determined to fill that space, offering stability, responsibility and optimism for the country’s future.

Prosper UK is an important and timely initiative. UK politics is at its best when the country has a strong centre-right voice that supports Kemi Badenoch in putting economic competence first, backing enterprise, and being straight with voters about the hard choices that underpin growth and prosperity. For too long, too much of the debate has been about playing to the gallery. Prosper UK can help change that. The Conservative Party is at its best when it is a broad church, and this new movement can help widen its appeal across the country, taking on both Labour and Reform UK.

Prosper UK believes in the power of private enterprise, investment and innovation to deliver prosperity for the businesses and people of Britain. A practical approach to encouraging economic growth through investment and increased productivity is what Britain and its businesses want to see. I believe that this new movement, with its energy, optimism and ambition will be welcomed by businesses of all shapes, sizes and sectors.

What the UK economy sorely needs at this moment is a double dose of optimism and dynamism, powered by rejuvenated regions and empowered businesses. This new movement contains just the vision, experience and skills necessary to help propel our splintered national politics towards that objective.

If like me you want a moderate, pragmatic alternative to Keir Starmer and Nigel Farage at the next election, get involved and help us make the case.

Businesses create the wealth and jobs our nation needs - we will work with business to develop the policies for it to flourish.

We need less government interference, more freedom to start and grow a business, lower and fairer taxes and a real chance for your children to do better than you.

We need government and business working together, restoring incentives that reward hard work, innovation and risk taking - policies that will build a more dynamic and prosperous economy once again.

Only through economic growth can we deliver rising living standards and quality public services for the British people - so growth must be our number 1 priority.

The noisy extremes offer no solutions to the very real challenges we face around security - only a return to the centre-right can deliver the safer, better communities we need.
