Temporarily disable Openplanet

You can temporarily disable Openplanet using the following steps:

1. Start holding down the Pause/Break key on your keyboard. Don't release it yet!
2. Click Play in Ubisoft Connect, the Epic Games Launcher, or Steam.
3. When you see the game itself load (the window opened), release the Pause/Break key now.

If you don't have the Pause/Break key on your keyboard, you can also rename dinput8.dll in your game directory to something else.

For competition hosts

We have developed flexible tooling for competitions that can fully configure which plugins are allowed and which are not, including the option to disallow everything.

If you are a competition host and would like to disallow the use of Openplanet during competitions, consider using a Signature Mode or Competition Profile instead, as they don't force the player to restart their game.
