    A series of four difficult to identify icons from the Paramount+, Netflix, and HBO Max streaming TV apps. The first icon is a set of four squares stacked two and two that Paramount+ uses to represent Shows. The second is a square on top of a triangle with a circle floating to the right that Netflix uses to represent Categories. The third is a set of three stacked lines HBO Max uses to represent Browse. The fourth is a square grid of nine dots used by HBO Max to represent Hubs.

    The Mercury design team has been doing a deep dive into designing great streaming TV apps. We realized that people often use several TV apps across multiple platforms. Because of this, design inconsistencies create a greater strain on the user than they normally would. (1/4)

    Your choice to use the same pattern fill for Reporting and Flip states makes it look like Reporting states are undecided Flip states. These should have been completely different patterns.
