I usually do my bike tours after work or on the weekend during the day. Yesterday, I did it in the evening. It was very nice, and some views (sadly, the camera on my bike phone isn’t that great) felt quite epic. I also managed to drink enough carbohydrates to not feel weak, but unfortunately it made me sleep badly afterward.

Today I took my camera again and tried some other motives in nature. This swan was one of them. I activated RAW images and tried to do some lite editing, first with Darktable, but then I chose RawTherapee, as that tries to adjust the settings to match the camera style. There’s so much to learn. I feel so overwhelmed by all the things I don’t know yet. But I also like it. Learning new skills is always great. And having fun with a new gadget as well. 😄

I bought a new (used) camera on eBay. A Panasonic LUMIX G91 (also known as G90 or G95) with the LUMIX 14-140mm f3.5-5.6 lense. I took it for a short walk around the block and quite like the results so far, but I definitely have to get more practice and confidence with real cameras. The camera was sold for a pretty good price and the previous owner even sent me a Peak Design Everyday Sling for free. 😄

The second part with the free wedding ceremony is now also finished. It was such a nice day, thanks to everyone who was there, helped, and made this day the best day in our lives! Cheers on our love and now also our marriage! 🥂♥️

Some time ago I resubscribed to Komoot Premium using some tricks to get it cheaper. But I don’t use Komoot to track my rides or even manage them there (OsmAnd is still my favorite app for that!); I just use it to plan them, especially on the PC. The biggest advantage: It suggests to me places I haven’t seen before, like this little castle. Today’s bike tour was great. ☺️
