When I'm not in front of a keyboard, I'm a husband, a dad, and full-time staff to three very spoiled dogs. I grew up in a tiny farming town in Washington State, I'm 40 years old, and I've spent over 13 years building software.

I consider myself lucky to have found my thing. I genuinely love what I do — there's never a shortage of new problems to solve or new things to learn.

I was the kid who would dismantle his toys to see how they worked, and then try to put them back together again. That curiosity never left, and it's still what drives me to keep learning and building.

Today I live in Raleigh, North Carolina with my wife, son, and three dogs. You'll usually find me grilling and smoking meats, playing games with my son, or watching gloriously bad horror movies with my wife while a pile of pups snores nearby.
