IBB PAS on the Polish Research Infrastructure Roadmap
On August 4, 2026, the Minister of Science and Higher Education, Marcin Kulasek, approved the updated Polish Research Infrastructure Roadmap (PRIR), which includes strategic research infrastructures of key importance for the development of science and innovation in Poland. In the updated PRIR, the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IBB PAS) is the applicant for three strategic research infrastructures and participates as a partner in four further infrastructures. NCN grants for IBB PAS researchers
We have the pleasure to inform that dr Diana Galea and dr Laura Wicke-Ryan received NCN SONATINA grants and will be conducting the following research projects: Dr Diana Galea – Building a comprehensive, system-level understanding of bacterial metal homeostasis within a well characterised bacterium. IBB PAS Researchers on the Board of the Warsaw Branch of the Polish Society of Genetics
The participants of the general meeting of the Warsaw Branch of the Polish Society of Genetics (PTG) elected a new Board on July 25, 2026. We are pleased to announce that IBB PAS researchers will be holding important positions during the new term. Dr. hab. Adrianna Skoneczna, prof. of IBB PAS, was elected President of the PTG Warsaw Branch, prof. dr hab. Małgorzata Łobocka was elected Secretary, and prof. dr hab. Teresa Żołądek was elected Chair of the Audit Committee. We encourage everyone to actively participate in the Society’s work. (…)
