Hi,

First time I play with BONANZA and it looks really ugly, so how can I make it better appearance of the shogi board?
BONANZA with BCM or another programm?
If you can give me an easy and comprehensible explanation it will be fine, because I am so weak in programming.

Bonanza doesn't look like anything, it is just an engine, right?
You would always need an interface to run it, unless you wanted to type in your moves as text.

So what interface are you using that you consider ugly?

Well, I don't know it, which might be a tell-tale sign. Alternatives are
BCMgames, WinBoard, Shogidogoro. This is largely a matter of taste, so
you just have to try them and see what you like best.
