Genoa just made photography easy sometimes… when it wasn’t too hot.

The Caruggi of Genoa were really fun to get lost in, but sometimes you'd make a turn and find some interesting contrasts.

Monaco from the Exotic Garden. Panorama of several images merged.

Gigantic sunflower

I had a hard time catching the grassland birds, it was some harsh lighting and they were fast! But I did capture this silhouette.

Gus, a Great Argus Pheasant, decided to show off his display to these pigeons. I can still hear him yelling "WOO-OO".

Of course there were many Flamingos. This one was very talkative and kept watching people.

I think this is some sort of hornbill.

Tribby the Penguin posing for his statue.

I don't know his name, but I called him Sam.

This burrowing owl watched me constantly. Either I have a friend or am being hunted.

I didn't catch if this was a duck or something else, but this bird found the best lighting and posed for a portrait.

Crossing the bridge on Schenley Drive on our way to the conservatory, we noticed all the locks across the bridge. Each lock was different some with dates and names, others just… there.

Quite a grande entrance to the Conservatory

The texture on this tree is amazing.

Sometimes the light just hits the plants in the best way.

The century plant is so big they had to take out a glass panel from the roof.

So many great plants and reflections in the conservatory.

These leaves have leaves

This building framed through a citrus tree in the edible garden of the Conservatory.

The pairing of a spiral staircase into the plants and trees at the conservatory is one of my favorite things to look for.

Looking down a steep street south of Pittsburgh from the top of Mount Washington.

Looking at the joining of the Monongahela and Allegheny rivers, forming the Ohio River.

Brooklyn Botanical Garden from our October 2025 trip to NYC

Playhouse Square in Cleveland Our hotel was right in the center of Cleveland which was great, right near transit options, walkable to a Guardians game. We just forgot to plan to see a show.

Some folks just took photos clearly not trying to recreate the album cover.

It's almost perfect to see a VW bus crossing here.

Some people just posed while cars drove by.

One of the entrances to the V&A

An angel silhouette in front of the window by the stairs.

The floor of the museum with sculptures.

Portobello Road

The double decker bus going through the market

A market with fresh vegetables and more…

If you are hungry you can get Paella and many other street food options

The market closes down the street on Saturdays and becomes a sensory overload.

This person is buying vegetables at the market

These folks are considering buying some stuff

The Durham Bulls field is a great one with the "hit bull win steak" sign in left field.
