Always a sucker for beautiful scooters.

From last week’s smoke conditions.

Very busy with work and end of school year stuff with the kiddos, but here’s Stacey taking a brief moment to inhale the scent of the sweetest baby boy on earth.

A vegan Cuban sandwich to die for at Masa.

Warbler hit our window and dazed himself, so we put him in a safe spot to let him sleep it off for a bit before he snapped back to reality and flew away.

That special time of year where, for a week or two, the cherry blossoms in our neighborhood bloom and our bike and scooter rides are magical.

Three-tenths of Karbon reflection shot.

Hugo is a good boy.

Nice little touch on the MacBook Neo wrapper. This little laptop is the perfect machine for our 12 year-old (and, frankly, for the whole house—which is why I bought another for the living room to replace a six year-old M1 Air). Apple knocked it out of the park.

Runner statue from the Marathon Collector’s Edition. Included in my blog post, Betting on Bungie: https://karbonbased.io/posts/2026/03/betting-on-bungie

My post-surgery Birdie, walking around to shake off the medicine. Slow day, but still looking lovely as ever.

Another place I didn’t patronize but instead admired the light hitting their sign.

Didn’t go in, but loved the neon sign design.
