The Leadership Council (LC) is the governing body of the React Technical Project.
The LC is responsible for technical governance, policy oversight, and coordination across the React Foundation's projects and Working Groups. It operates under the authority delegated by the React Foundation Governing Board and the Linux Foundation.
Scope
The LC oversees:
- The React Technical Charter and its amendment process
- Policy documents governing day-to-day operations (see Policies)
- The creation, oversight, and retirement of Working Groups
- Technical direction and strategic initiatives for the React ecosystem
- Community standards, codes of conduct, and contribution guidelines

Policies
The LC maintains the following policy documents. These can be amended through processes lighter than a full charter amendment, see each document for its specific approval requirements.

Policy change process
To propose a change or addition to policies or processes, open a Pull Request against this repository.
Changes to the React Technical Charter require the full charter amendment process. Changes to policy documents follow the lighter-weight approval process defined in each policy.
