I've noticed that pressing Ctrl-L interrupts an active history search. I run into this quite frequently and it seems like a bug.

TODOs:

• If addressing an issue, a commit message mentions Fixes issue #<issue-number>
• Changes to fish usage are reflected in user documentation/manpages.
• Tests have been added for regressions fixed
• User-visible changes noted in CHANGELOG.rst

yeah that makes sense. Basic testing shows scrollback-push still works fine when the cursor is in the pager, so I guess it's already correct.
