I'm Stan, a software engineer interested in all parts of the stack, from low-level system programming and infra to web development and mobile apps.

I love building and contributing to open-source projects in my free time. I also maintain a curated list of my starred projects.

  • Pastekey: Passkey-only, end-to-end encrypted text and file sharing.
  • Meridian: Self-hosted, end-to-end encrypted Obsidian sync.
  • Enedis: A live, street-level map of power outages reported by Enedis in France.
  • Koliko: Privacy-first usage analytics for coding agents.
  • Mullvad Relay Map: An interactive map of Mullvad VPN relays with latency estimates.
  • Vélib Pulse: A map-first view of Vélib’ Métropole availability in Paris.

  • Netclode: A self-hosted coding agent with a native iOS client built in SwiftUI.
  • firstfm-ios: iOS client for Last.fm written with Swift and SwiftUI.

  • Qhostty: An experimental native Qt 6 frontend for Ghostty, built for KDE Plasma on Linux.
  • Netclode: A self-hosted coding agent with a native macOS client built in SwiftUI.
  • MacThrottle: A macOS menu bar app for monitoring thermal throttling, built with SwiftUI.

Terminal 💻

  • fast-resume: A full-text search TUI for finding and resuming coding sessions, built with Rust, Ratatui, and Tantivy.
  • pi-extensions: A collection of TypeScript extensions for the Pi coding agent, including UI, workflow, and quality-of-life features.
  • hue-tui: A TUI to control Philips Hue lights, built with Go and Bubble Tea.
  • opencode-wakatime: An OpenCode plugin written in TypeScript to track code activity in WakaTime.
  • noclaw: A tiny autonomous AI assistant written in C, shipping as a single binary with a 324 KB memory footprint. (for the meme)

Systems and sandboxing 📦

  • Netclode: A self-hosted coding environment with sessions isolated in Kata Containers microVMs using Cloud Hypervisor.
  • Codebench: Code benchmarking platform with Go workers running inside Firecracker microVMs.
  • krowl: A distributed web crawler in Go with durable local storage, consistent-hash sharding, and WARC capture.

Home automation 🏡

  • teleinfo2mqtt-rs: Convert TeleInfo frames from a Linky meter's serial port to Home Assistant-compatible MQTT messages. I also built my own MQTT client for this.
  • hue-tui: A TUI to control Philips Hue lights, built with Go and Bubble Tea.
  • lametric-time: A Linux toolkit for recovering and provisioning a LaMetric TIME through its undocumented setup API.
