I'm a frontend engineer with an extensive background in life science. I love creating the UI for modern web apps in React/TypeScript. I also dabble a bit in UI/UX and graphic design. Usually you can find me reading a book, playing an (tt/c)RPG or knitting yet another pair of socks.

What am I learning at the moment
- Node.js and Mongo DB - to switch to the product team at mu current company
- CS50’s Introduction to Computer Science - new cohhort just started, so I took this opportunity to jump back in and try to finish it this time - attending the live, unedited lectures on YouTube each Monday https://www.youtube.com/@cs50/streams
- Revisiting revised FreeCodeCamp's curriculum - fullstack - as a refresher to keep my skills sharp and to learn the things that I've missed in the previous version
What am I building now
- My current focus is freelance work, mainly for the eCommerce sector -> https://github.com/eStoreLabs
- refactoring my portfolio (lots of refactors... improving overall code, implementing new features, adding new pages)
- Web app for handling pet data (in Next.js with Supabase) - put on hold due to lack of time... but I'll come back to it, refactor, improve, expand ;)
