Right Siders?!

Right Siders is a game about walking on the right side, literally. Implemented using Rust, Macroquad, JavaScript and HTML. 99% of the code is written by agentic AI using Google's Antigravity with Gemini 3.5 Flash (Medium). Music is created with Suno. You can play at www.rightsiders.de - it even works on mobile! You can also play and give feedback at itch.io: https://unreal-software.itch.io/right-siders

Designed for web. PC build works too but doesn't have audio at the moment.

Why?

Does this sound familiar? You're walking somewhere - whether it's a leisurely stroll or you're in a hurry to get somewhere. Of course, you're walking on the right side of the path, just as you're supposed to. But suddenly someone comes toward you, and you realize with horror that this person isn't walking on their right side but - I hardly dare to write it - on their left! This person is causing pure stress on your side. Do they even realize their mistake? Are they seeing you in time? If so, will they step aside? Could there be a collision if you don't back down and, despite your proper behavior, initiate an energy-sapping evasive maneuver?

It's time to put an end to this madness. People need to learn to walk on the right side. It's easier for everyone.

Right Siders aims to draw attention to this important problem and its obvious and simple solution.

I'm living in a country with left-hand driving and I feel offended!

We understand your pain. Right Siders is made in Germany and we are used to right-hand driving. Good news is that the game is open source. We can't wait to see your Left Siders mod!

Is this political?

Not at all. A true right sider just prefers to walk right. Not in a political way. We even say so in the main menu.
