I have been a fan of this project for many years, but only now committed to learning the layout until I'm as fluent with it as I am with Qwerty.
One thing I really miss from the Qwerty-based virtual keyboard I used previously -- Unexpected Keyboard -- is a control key. It can be used for operations such as undo, select all, cutting and pasting, etc. Yes, there are touch-and-hold gestures for some of those things, but not all of them, and far less ergonomically than with a control key.
KeyBee has room for a control key above the main key area, similar to the settings, emoji, and return keys.
I have programming experience and could probably figure out how to do it with the help of the Unexpected Keyboard source code, but I don't have an Android development environment, nor the know-how to set one up -- otherwise I would have submitted a PR.
