Writer overthinking
I don't think I know how to write stories?
Or at least, I am quite troubled with how I am currently writing these posts. The technical ones are easy as they simple present a bunch of absolutes that I find noteworthy to write about, usually shorter is better I find. But for writing storytelling with my trips and experiences, I just find it much more difficult to write.
I've tried with sort of writing something anecdotal or build up, example, I wanted to start out this post with:
I always had trouble with languages, linguistics and whatnot in school. I was taking after-school classes in Danish as I simple couldn't understand a lot of the basic stuff and I was sitting so many nights with my mother crying as I couldn't do basic reading from a book. I feel like it affects me today, and trying to write in non-native tongue seems to add to the complexity.
Particular, I have been frustrated with my usage of "I" constantly in my posts.. I guess that's just what happens when I write from my own perspective -- But what are the alternatives? (sidenote: I am not HYPER aware of "I" in this very blogpost, watch below how I try NOT do write it.)
(I) Would love to get some pointers to online courses or YouTube channels for storytelling, and maybe even more basic, how to structure interesting narratives - because that's usually what I can cook it down to.
(I think) Blog posts from others would also be a good suggestion to read more. Maybe even try to analyze them a bit, chop them into sections and how there different paragraphs refer to each other.
This post came in the midst of (me) writing another blogpost, I realized I had so much trouble structuring basic sentences and form a narrative - so why not write 2 blog posts instead~
