fucking love ear protection

Think ear protection will ruin your experience? I though so too! But now I consider them one of my most favourite/essential item of 2026.

... I might have gotten them 2025, but anyway. Loops music~? Something small you can carry with you all day.

For quite some time I was very hesitant on getting any kind of ear protection. I didn't hold back so much due to how I would be viewed, but my main problem was I thought it would lessen my experience during concerts.

BUT I was getting quite tired of walking on busy streets getting pissed at noisy cars, construction, etc. - and I believe a toot from @pixols mentioned getting Loops, made me just jump into "why not just try it".

OH MAN HOW COULD I LIVE WITHOUT THEM.

So... YES do change the sound, so what, at least HAVING them gives you the option to turn shit down.

This has genuinely made so many experiences SO much better for me

  • concerts where music was too loud
  • cinemas who doesn't understand that the movie they are playing are insanely loudly mixed
  • work (i dont enjoy it so much there, but it can help rarely)
  • active streets,

For 3 times in a row I have been to a too loud movie in the cinema, and every time the people I went with were like "Oh man I wish I had some".

Every time I am so grateful to have them on my keychain.

Get them, you won't regret having them for when you need them :shrug:
