[GFSS2025] Weekend excursions 23–24 August

Saturday 23rd August: Visit Göteborgs Remfabrik, a textile industry museum at the heart of Gothenburg.

The visit takes around 1h, or longer if you ask lots of interesting questions, or want to sample everything in the museum shop afterwards. (You are welcome to leave early in any case.)
Families are welcome, although young children may get bored.
Some of the looms are loud, but the loud part is quite short. If you're particularly sensitive, bring earplugs.
No entrance fee for you!

Sunday 24th August: Visit the island Tjörn, about 60 km from Gothenburg.

All day from morning to evening.
Program: hiking, swimming (for those who want), barbecue and visiting the Pilane sculpture park.
Families are welcome.
Västtrafik public transit costs 74 SEK one way for an adult.
