We have been involved in the Morecambe project since 2018, originally as lead developer, now as a trusted consultancy partner.

In 2025, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) acquired Morecambe Offshore Windfarm, and today, the project is led by CIP’s global offshore wind development arm, with Flotation Energy continuing as a dedicated development partner under a long-term consultancy agreement.

Through this role, we provide technical, environmental and commercial expertise to help progress Morecambe efficiently through development and consent, ensuring the project delivers clean power and long-term benefits for the UK.
