Yours truly This is the personal website of Alex, compulsive C programmer and unixhead. There is absolutely no ideology, leftist or otherwise, behind these software projects. Making computers work the way you want, and sharing it with others, because others cared to share with you, and a prevailing tendency to keep things simple is what it's all about mainly.

The fastestcode.org domain name is a homage to Michael Abrash's '90s book Black Book of Graphics Programming, which in a way exemplifies how much fun computer programming eventually can be, if all it's about is building interesting and useful things.

If you have any questions, feel free to send plain-text mail to mail@fastestcode.org. Bug reports are always welcome, preferably including a backtrace of some sort. No joy in reviewing and applying patches, though.
