Detroit Community Health Improvement Process

The Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) is a strategic, community-driven blueprint designed to work within the City’s Health in All Policies (HiAP) framework. The strategies outlined in the CHIP will be anchored by the Detroit Health Department, in collaboration with City departments, and carried out in partnership with the community to drive necessary changes in policies, systems and environments across every district.
