new glasses!!!!!
I'm back immediately after posting the last thing cuz that one was from a few days ago.
Yesterday I had to help a guy at my job with a research project. I had to show him how to do some stuff I am still very much a beginner at so being put in that position especially because I am NOT a natural born explainer felt. Cruel lmao. But at the same time I'm continually learning nothing happens when you're bad at things. No spontaneous combustion or anything. It was just a little stressful and awkward. But he enjoyed himself in the end so... success?
Anyway what got me through the day is I got an email saying my new GLASSES arrived so I was vibrating about that all day lol. I am wearing the pink-tinted pair right now and probably will a lot at home — I don't know about going out or if I'll wear the transitions most of the time. I guess I could take both to work. The pink tint really makes my eyes more comfortable looking at screens so it'd be a big help. I can always switch them up at work I guess. I can do it... I'm feeling nervous about people asking me questions because they are noticeable but then again lots of people have tinted glasses and with me being (??) people probably would assume they're for like some kind of difficulty with reading, eye sensitivity etc. which, both. I think technically I have Irlen Syndrome if you literally just answer the questionnaire but I'm not about to do anything serious about that lol. I've been using these Irlen notebooks for months though at work and it's much nicer than glaring white paper.
Excited/nervous to test out my transition glasses today cuz I'm going out with my friend again. Things have been pretty chill in that regard. We're gonna go to IKEA today I think.
My dog is on the mend from his surgery too! Hopefully after all this the issue with his ears won't return. I really wanna quit bullying him with all the procedures he's had enough.....
...BACK because I forgot to say I CAUGHT the stupid rosalia batesi beetle finally!!!! It was so stupid lol I went to a billion mystery islands over a few days. They were all raining on two of those days which apparently is a Thing, I'm not sure if this is true but someone said if you go on your first mystery island for the day and it's raining, they all will be raining for that day. So last night it wasn't raining on my first one and I was trying to get it to spawn for like twenty minutes but literally no bugs except the water beetles were showing up and then I realised that's. The island type. Only water bugs spawn on that island. Lmao. Finally caught it on my second mystery island last night. Stupid blue beetle. But, I think I have all the museum stuff for June so I'm about to time travel again which is fun.
