If good things lasted forever
There's so much wisdom in Calvin and Hobbes. When I was a kid, I loved the comic strip for Calvin's rebellious nature, his trips to outer space, his total defiance to authority. Now, I see another side to the strip. Which is exactly what Bill Watterson did with Hobbes, himself. He was one thing to Calvin, and another to everyone else. Pretty cool.
Anyways, here's one of my favourites from the series, on the changing seasons, time, the present, gratitude... a lot for a kid to take in.
