Weak Notes 02
This week in analog, I've been trying to be more present offline. I started "illustrated journaling" in my square sketchbook and I love mixing drawing with writing. I try to do it a few times a week, and might even start sketching some little things to add more visuals and personality to the blog.
This week in wellness, a new brance of our gym opened up this month, so we finally visited and it's been so nice to use new machines with new place "smell". This week my boyfriend has gone twice, and I've gone three times. We've also been eating better, even with the occasional fatty/fried food. There's been a big difference in my mood and energy, which I'm super happy about.
This week in tech, I finally received my Macbook Neo in Citris, and love it! There's something charming and fun about it. I think I'm having nice memories from my first EEE PC and the days when tech was fun.

I've also updated this website a tiny bit and I really love how it's turned out. Tweaking the look and layout and adding stuff is the joy of having your own space. Also, I have a blog on Pika again since I love using that editor, and it's so nice and easy to drag and drop images. My goal was to make it a "tumblr" style blog, where I post cool cyberpunk or retro tech that I find online, but honestly Tumblr is still best for that style of curation. It makes it super easy and all of the unique images are there already. I'll probably pivot the Pika blog for the rest of the year if I end up not posting to it much. I also reopened my second bear blog to capture wellness, health and fitness stuff, with no branding and keeping it seperate to this space.
I discovered bubbles.town which is a "digg" style space for finding independent, personal blogs, and they have ranks to "bubble up" popular posts, kind of how the bear discover feed works. I did a search and was surpised to find some of my posts there! I want to work on adding their tiny embed to the footer of my post template so they can show the updoots as well. Not that I care much, but it's fun to see, must like toasts here on bear blog.
This week in gaming, I've been watching people stream Tomodachi Life™: Living the Dream for the Nintendo Switch. I downloaded the demo and love it! I'll buy it tonight and then probably stream it for fun on the weekends 😆
