TikTok has been actually banned about an hour ago Eastern time. This is a reminder that now is the best time to start up a website, even if it’s on Blogger, Bear blog, Smol.pub, Neocities, anything free or for a small fee if you can afford it. Don’t sign up for other social media apps to post your content, art, videos, or photos. Get a cheap domain if you can and control where stuff is posted. Make sure there service you use has a way to export your content easily. You don’t even need to know how to code with services like carrd.co or linktr.ee. Smol.pub has a $5 one time fee. OMG.lol is amazing and only $20 for an entire year, with so many fun services attached (webpage and weblog included). I’m sure there are many others that I can’t think of right now.
