You should read blogs now
Lately I've been connecting with new individuals through their blogs. It has been such a great experience. It's like a different world compared to social media. I'm happy to find like minded bloggers with interesting stories to share. It is a change from scrolling timelines, muting, blocking and filtering individuals.
It feels like it's the right time to minimize our time on any social media network as political opinions and stories are shared more and more. If you enjoy it, more power to you. I'm done. I've started to minimize my time on Mastodon, closed other social accounts and stayed offline more.
I have fine tuned my RSS feeds for more blogs than tech news. I also unsubscribed from any feed that continues to insert American politics within their tech articles. Visiting blogger's sites to see their style and read missed posts is something I look forward to daily.
Bear blog has a great trending rss feed that I find new stories to read and bloggers to follow. Neocities and others offer a similar experience. If you haven't checked it out and want a break from the norm, try loading your rss reader with more blogs!
