Jellify for Jellyfin
On my ongoing search for an offline music player for Jellyfin that works on my phone and car, I came across a new app. It is still in beta and some features are not working. I've had it crash on me on the first day but after receiving two updates, it's been a champ.
Connecting to my server has always been an issue with other music apps. Jellify had no issue once I entered the credentials. The main feature I like over the Jellyfin stock app is that Jellify will continue playing music when the screen turns off. Jellyfin never plays music once the screen times out which was frustrating. The UI is also better designed for music playing more so than Jellyfin.
The CarPlay feature is still not working in my car. There is an icon that shows up but after clicking it I get a white screen. For now, VLC works better for me in this regard but I will keep an eye on Jellify as it progresses.
