I used to be a Marvel fan
I used to be a Marvel fan. I heard there is a new movie (maybe two parts) with like over 50 actors. I didn't watch any of this new cast introduction but have heard about it from many YouTuber's. That stream of chairs was ridiculous.
Is this like the last big hurrah and the studio is collecting every actor that played a Marvel character in the past 20 years or so? This sounds like a disaster. How can any of these actors think they will have a minute of screen time? Even if there are two movies.
It's become an easy pay day for many actors. It feels to me every current actor has been in these movies.
There is no storyline any longer and I try to watch the recent movies but they are not enjoyable. I wonder if the younger generation cares to watch these movies and how big is this group? Enough to keep the studio busy? I don't think so.
Every couple of years I'll watch some original movies like Iron Man or X-Men again but I never plan it. Most of my memories are gone, so watching these Marvel movies feels like it's new to me. Maybe one day I'll be surprised but I'm mostly disappointed after watching these new ones.
