The Factbook synthesises extensive qualitative and quantitative information on more than 130 conflicts with an environmental dimension around the world. Each conflict is presented in a factsheet that can be accessed through a map and a plethora of useful filtering categories.

This exhibition illustrates how today’s unprecedented environmental changes interact with social, political, and economic risks to exacerbate conflict. It also explains how we can work together to reduce these risks and strengthen resilience.

What is Climate Diplomacy
The climate crisis is one of the greatest challenges of the 21st century. The repercussions for our foreign policy agenda are substantial and therefore a stronger role for foreign policy in international climate policy has been called for – namely through climate diplomacy.
Who We Are
adelphi and the German Federal Foreign Office first formed an alliance over a decade ago and have since been playing a central role in the process of supporting the international debates on climate diplomacy and security, and much more.
The Information Platform
One key strategic objective of the Climate Diplomacy Initiative is to engage the wider public in the debate around climate diplomacy. To that end, adelphi and the German Federal Foreign Office have devised an integrated communication concept.
