CData Drivers now work with AI Coding tools

The Marketo ODBC Driver is a powerful tool that allows you to connect with live data from Marketo, directly from any applications that support ODBC connectivity. Access Marketo data like you would a database - read, write, and update Marketo Leads, Campaigns, Activities, etc. through a standard ODBC Driver interface.

Server

SQL

SQL Server Linked-Server

Connect to Marketo from SQL Server as Linked-Server. You can query Marketo from familiar Transact-SQL without need of setting up another application.

Informatica

Data Integration & ETL

Integrate Marketo to your system through popular ETL / EAI tools such as Informatica PowerCenter. Standard SQL and Stored Procedures enable fast delivery of your integration projects.

Marketo ODBC Connectivity Features

  • Work with SOAP and REST objects
  • Includes support for custom activities and objects
  • Supports both Bulk Extract and Bulk Import via Marketo REST API
  • Powerful metadata querying enables SQL-like access to non-database sources
  • Push down query optimization pushes SQL operations down to the server whenever possible, increasing performance
  • Client-side query execution engine, supports SQL-92 operations that are not available server-side
  • Connect to live Marketo data, for real-time data access with the Marketo ADO.NET Provider
  • Full support for data aggregation and complex JOINs in SQL queries
  • Secure connectivity through modern cryptography, including TLS 1.2, SHA-256, ECC, etc.
  • Seamless integration with leading BI, reporting, and ETL tools and with custom applications via the Marketo Connector.

Target Service, API

The driver supports both Marketo REST API version 1. Provides comprehensive access to Marketo marketing automation platform. SOAP API is not supported in the newest version of the driver.

Schema, Data Model

Models Marketo data as relational tables with dynamic metadata discovery. The driver automatically detects available objects like Leads, Activities, Campaigns, and custom objects.

Key Objects

Leads, Contacts, Opportunities, Activities, Campaigns, Programs, Channels, Email Templates, Landing Pages, Forms, Custom Objects, and Lists. Full access to Marketo marketing automation objects.

Operations

Full SQL-92 compliant operations including SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE. Supports complex queries with JOINs, aggregations, and filtering. Query optimization pushes operations to Marketo when possible. Bulk operations supported through Bulk API when enabled.

Authentication

For REST API: Requires OAuthClientId, OAuthClientSecret, and RESTEndpoint. The authentication uses Marketo Admin credentials.

AI-assisted development with CData CLI

Build Marketo integrations faster with AI that understands your schema

Schema-aware AI

CData CLI gives AI coding tools access to your Marketo schema. No more guessing table names or column types—AI sees the same metadata in your ODBC Drivers.

Your AI Knows SQL

How to find table names, column names, and how to generate SQL syntax are things that AI knows well from millions of training data. No need for customization, no hallucinations. Your AI acts like a domain specialist to Marketo.

More Accurate, More Token-Efficient

With CData CLI's queryable schema detection and highly efficient queries with filters, aggregation, joins with correct pushdown, your AI will achieve more accuracy with less token usage.
