Maven Wagon is a transport abstraction that is used in Maven's artifact and repository handling code.

Wagon defines a unified API, and it currently has the following providers:

• File
• HTTP
• HTTP lightweight
• FTP
• SSH/SCP
• WebDAV
• SCM (in progress)
