Binance introduced perpetual contracts tied to SpaceX pre-IPO valuation, extending its derivatives market into private-company exposure.

It allows traders to take long or short positions on SpaceX’s implied valuation before any public listing event.

Syndicate Labs shuts down operations amid rollup market slowdown

Syndicate Labs is shutting down operations after five years in the Ethereum infrastructure space.

The company said the decision comes after a slowdown in the rollup market and a shift toward more customized blockchain infrastructure that reduced demand for its core products. . It also said the $330,000 exploit last month is not linked to this decision.

Catena Labs raises $30M for AI agent banking infrastructure

Catena Labs raised $30M in a Series A round led by Andreessen Horowitz’s crypto arm to develop financial infrastructure for AI agent-driven transactions.

The company is also applying for a U.S. national trust bank charter to gain regulatory authority over customer funds and payment processing for autonomous agent activity.

Variational raises $50M to expand onchain derivatives platform

Variational raised $50M in a Series A round led by Dragonfly Capital. The platform is building an onchain derivatives system that connects liquidity from traditional finance dealers and exchanges through a unified liquidity layer.

Its upcoming Omni app will support retail trading with a “zero-fee” model and expand access to derivatives, including real-world commodities.

Fantasy.top is shutting down operations

Fantasy.top has announced it will shut down its TCG operations by the end of June.

The team cited structural limitations in the TGC model, noting that trading activity and volume were not sufficient to support long-term operations.
