The collaboration is aimed at giving AI agents verifiable identities, auditable on-chain records of their actions, and provable data provenance.

Falcon Finance taps Anchorage to issue new GENIUS-compliant payments stablecoin fUSD

Falcon Finance has launched fUSD, a payments stablecoin issued by Anchorage Digital Bank, the first federally chartered crypto bank in the U.S. The token is backed 1:1 by short-dated U.S. Treasuries and Treasury-backed repos, with reserves held under OCC supervision and attested monthly by Deloitte. fUSD is built around the GENIUS Act framework and is designed for institutional use cases including treasury management, trading collateral, and settlement between regulated counterparties.

fUSD includes a rewards structure targeting roughly 3% annually for qualifying institutional holders, paid by Falcon Finance under separate bilateral agreements. fUSD is also being deployed as collateral on Ceffu’s MirrorRSV solution, an off-exchange settlement system linked to Binance, allowing clients to keep assets in cold storage while using a mirrored version as collateral for margin and futures trading.

Circle has added Nium as a global payout partner on the Circle Payments Network, connecting USDC-powered settlement with last-mile fiat payouts across more than 190 countries and 100 currencies through a single integration. The deal removes the need for institutions to manage fragmented local providers and prefund accounts across separate corridors.

The Circle Payments Network recorded $8.3B in annualized transaction volume, reflecting growing institutional adoption of USDC for cross-border payments. The Nium partnership is part of Circle’s broader push to move USDC from a settlement instrument into a full end-to-end payments flow.
