Years ago when I still streamed the sermons from Central Synagogue, their world famous rabbi Angela Buchdahl was discussing the divisions within her synagogue community when it came to a discussion of the war in Gaza. She exhorted people to stop calling those who objected or sided with the Mamdanis of the world “kapos.”

Ok, she didn’t call the antiIsrael, antisemitic, genocidal bottom feeders parading around the NYC streets in their keffiyeh come jackboots “the Mamdanis of the world,” that came later when she refused to also tell her congregation not to vote for the Jew-hating anti-American commie bottom feeder. Was she afraid to alienate members of her community? Did she really think all opinions are welcome?

Just as an aside, in my 65 years I always thought the word “rabbi” meant teacher, and one of the things you were supposed to do as a teacher is teach. You tell the pupil, student, congregation member when they are wrong. You don’t hem and haw. You don’t say, “bubbeleh, all cultures are the same and equal.” As a rabbi you don’t work off of vibes. You say “what the fuck is wrong with you, you schmuck?” Ok a rabbi might say it in a little more diplomatic way, but the meaning would be the same.

Oh and by the way, it was not only wrong to vote for Mamdani in general, it was just so much worse to vote for that mamza if you are a Jew. And 30% of the Jews in NYC voted for him. It’s like the 7000 Jews in Germany who voted for Hitler because they thought he would be good for the economy. It’s as if these NY Jewish morons thought Mamdani’s Jew-hatred had nothing to do with them, or they abhor Bibi (like most Israelis at this point), or they are truly stupid enough to think that the Jews have no right to Israel and they side with Hamas (that last one shows a real pathology where if their parents loved them they would stick them in Bellevue for a long stay).

Believe me when I tell you, there are some out there mostly JVP, JStreet, INN, (who are like those rather obtuse Jewish communists who like the Yevsektsiya under Stalin who helped destroy Jewish intellects while being stupid enough to think that Stalin would not kill them as well, or the judenrat under the Nazis) that think when the enemy screams “allahu akbar” as the Islamist stabs with a screwdriver, that these Jew-hating-Jews are immune because they despise Bibi and think Jews should go back to speaking yiddish and pretend we live in a 14th century Polish ghetto. (PS, of the Jews today, most of our ancestors did not live in a Polish ghetto or a Russian shtetl, and if you go back far enough, we all come from Judea, Samaria and Israel.)

(Apparently, there really is this idiotic “Diaspora” movement that says Jews should live as subservients in the diaspora because from that comes the real understanding of Judaism. This “vibe” bullshit again. That Israel has nothing to do with being Jewish and the Jewish world needs to stop centering Israel in Jewish organizations. I swear by all that is holy these Jews need a good Jewish history book, besides a swift kick in the tuchas. I recommend Paul Johnson’s, the History of the Jews, Simon Schama’s, The Story of the Jews Part I and II, Simon Sebag Montefiore’s Jerusalem, BernardHenri-Levy’s, Israel Alone, Herman Wouk’s, This is my God)

Meanwhile, back to the word “kapos.” In the concentration camps, the SS of course could not control all the prisoners, so they assigned, or some volunteered, to be camp leaders, or barrack leaders, or Jewish policemen working for the Nazis. Their job was to keep the others in line. Primo Levi, a holocaust survivor and author, wrote that the reality of the kapo is a gray area. One where we need to question ourselves what we would do in order to survive if we were thrown into such a dystopian reality. Many say kapos too were victims, but they stopped being victims when they then persecuted others. Just so you know, the Jews meted out their own justice to kapos whether in the DP camps, in Israel, or in places when no one else was around. “Ayn tachet ayin”

You see, Jews betraying their fellow Jews is not new. And Jews doing something about it is not new either.

You can go all the way back to Biblical times, and the story of Bar kamtza. Which interestingly enough is told on Tisha B’Av, when Jews mourn the destruction of the Holy Temples (it was last week if you had not noticed.)

Hellenized Jews, who had sided with the Greeks in persecuting their fellow Jews were punished by the Maccabees.

You can go back to Josephus who because of his betrayal of the Galilee actually hastened the destruction of Judea, yet without his The Jewish Wars we would not know about Masada or too much about the Jewish revolt that led to the destruction of Jerusalem and the holy Temple in 70,CE .

You have the Jew who led the burning of the Talmuds in 1242 (and of course where they burn books, the eventually burn people).

And throughout history you have Jews who wanted to so be part of the society at large that they hid or denied their Jewish heritage. As Erica Jong wrote in her wonderful book Serenissima, about the Merchant of Venice in Venice, the ultimate antisemite was Jessica, because she betrayed her father and her people for the love of someone who would never consider her his equal because no matter what she did, she was still born a Jew.

Jews are used to treason from within.

So since the Holocaust, for generations, the worst thing one Jew could call another was “kapo.” The ultimate betrayer. I remember over a decade ago, having a discussion online with someone who objected me calling another Jew a “kapo.” I relented and said they were right. Kapos lived through extraordinary nightmarish events. Today’s traitors are not living a dystopian nightmare. They are well educated, well off, living in the freest and wealthiest nation in human history and they have chosen to seek to give cover for those who would genocide half, if not all (well the majority at least), of their fellow Jews. Calling these people “kapos,” is an insult to “kapos.”

What I find interesting is that there was a discussion over at Commentary where they too rejected the word “Kapos” for Jews who kosher Mamdani’s genocidal antisemitism. They too said it was basically not harsh enough to describe these Jews. (Seems the Jewish world is catching up with me finally. 😜) Watch the discussion HERE.

Eve Barlow (I think it was she who coined the term) calls them Mamdani’s Jewish beards. (If it wasn’t her then let me know.) For those who don’t know what a “beard” is in gay parlance. It is someone who the gay person uses to cover up the fact that they are homosexual. Like when Rock Hudson was married. His wife was his beard. The “beard” thought they were also doing something helpful in many ways. Protecting someone they may have cared about from society’s homophobic derision. (Like the Keira Knightly character wanted to do for Alan Turing.) Or in the realm of Hollywood, they got paid a boatload of money. Nonetheless it was a kind of protection. Not a kind of destruction.

(Ok hiding that you were a homosexual was the destruction of the soul because a person could not live the life they were entitled to and love who they wanted to love. But that is a discussion for another day and something at least in the west we have moved beyond. Just don’t take a gay cruise to Turkey or Egypt though. Funny how that boat refused to stop in Israel where they would have been welcomed.)

Mamdani’s Jewish beards are not looking to protect him from the world in which he resides. That world exalts him. Carries him on their shoulders as if he was a conquering hero. These pathetic Jews want to make sure no one in the greater society sees his sociopathic desire to rid the world of Jews, well at least Jews who don’t want to live as dhimmis in a world where they are demeaned, derided, disenfranchised, and raped. They are Jew-washing Mamdani’s islamo-nazi genocidal pathology. Why? Honestly, I don’t know, and I don’t care. They need to be expunged from the Jewish people. Thrown out. Made cherem. There comes a times when you don’t have to try to win someone back. Sometimes you really do need to let them go, with a good riddance, too.

But in the meantime, what do we call these entitled, enfranchised, well-off, freest Jews in history, who give succor to an ideology and a person that would have the Jewish People obliterated off the face of the Earth, or enslaved? Is calling them “kapos” really an insult to “kapos”….

Is there even a word for it yet? Or like the words “genocide” and “Holocaust” are we going to need someone to create a new word, because the betrayal is so staggering that nothing in human history, or the lexicon as it exists, covers what is actually happening once again to the Jewish People?

Can you think of an appropriate word?
