The Mayday-Mayday-Mayday distress call was created 1923, by Fredrick Stanley Mockford. It is the Anglicised version of the French m’aider meaning “help me” and was officially adopted as a standard radiotelephone distress call in 1927.
In the global political climate of the 21st century, it could be argued a call of Mayday-Mayday-Mayday, needs to be sounded before Western culture disappears forever. Such a call was given by British Protestant Christians of the 16th century who saw the pagan festivities of the 1st of May - May Day as an attack on Christianity. Although May Day celebrations are a lovely way to herald the warmer regenerative Spring season, it is the worship of pagan gods, now part of English and American culture, that is out of place. It should, instead be another day of Thanksgiving to God.
‘The religious studies scholar Wouter Hanegraaff characterized paganism as encompassing “all those modern movements which are, first, based on the conviction that what Christianity has traditionally denounced as idolatry and superstition actually represents/represented a profound and meaningful religious worldview and, secondly, that a religious practice based on this worldview can and should be revitalized in our modern world.”’ Wikipedia
England as America, were founded as Protestant Christian nations, but were very quickly infiltrated at all levels of society by a desperate papal Rome. When Pope Gregory I sent Prior Augustine on a mission to convert England to Roman Catholicism, he found a very established and organised Christian church active and resistant to Romanism (as it was called until the 1800s before its rebranding). But this did not stop the papists; they are long visioned and patient.
St. Augustine of Canterbury is widely credited with bringing Roman Catholicism to Anglo-Saxon England. Sent by Pope Gregory I in 597 AD, Augustine was a Benedictine monk who led a mission to convert King Æthelberht of Kent, subsequently establishing the See of Canterbury and becoming the first Archbishop of Canterbury’ google.com
The month of May is named after the goddess Maia/Gaia who was considered by the Ancient Greeks to be the mother of all the gods including Zeus (Jupiter to the Romans) anagram for Satan. It was Maia that the Greeks worshipped in their sacred groves, and it is she that the Romans held Floralia Games in honor of. Ancient Roman Catholic Europe embraced such pagan festivals as part of their Roman Catholic culture.
With Pagan and then papal Rome’s presences in Britain, they found kinship with the Druid. As the Druids were already honouring the goddess Maia by worshipping oak trees, the priests were slowly able to insert May Day festivities in mainstream societal calendars. To go a-maying became an annual event.
‘Going a-maying” was a widespread European custom marking the beginning of summer, where young people would go into the woods to collect flowering branches and greenery (”bringing in the May”) to decorate their homes at sunrise [in honour of the god Horus]’ google.com
As May Day became a fixed celebratory day in Britain, trimming and planting trees, erecting maypoles, Morris Dancing, cross dressing, drunkenness, and open sexual exploits were all part of the day’s ritual of welcoming Maia back from the dead. Young virgins were chosen to represent Maia becoming the “Queen of the May”, as Ishtar, papal Rome’s Virgin Mary, is Queen of Heaven. The 16th century saw Jesuit theater introduced, and the god Pan, rebranded the Green Man or Jack-in-the-Green.
‘It has often been charged…that Catholicism is overlaid with many pagan incrustations. Catholicism is ready to accept that accusation - and even make it her boast…The great god Pan is not really dead, he is baptised.’ The Story of American Catholicism, 1941, Theodore Maynard, page 37
The task of the Jesuit Order, created in 1534 and ordained by Pope Paul III in 1540, was to run a Counter Reformation, herding the heretics back to Rome. They originally called themselves the Company of Jesus (Horus) but are now known benignly as the Society of Jesus. They are the Vatican Military Order that successive Popes send to non-Catholic countries, specifically targeting Britain and America, as “missionaries”.
For centuries the Christians of the British Isles pushed back with all their might, to be labeled and cast as disdainful Puritans by Rockefeller-History. The narrative that they were “hot heads”, “intolerant”, and “fundamental Christians” needed to be maintained through the centuries to defer from the reality of the papal tyranny Britain was and is under.
The Puritan label always is used without context. The Puritans fought, at the pain of death to secure Protestant freedoms - freedom of conscience to choose one’s spirituality, whatever that looks like. The Puritans fought to keep the nation free from papal despotism that imposed - freedom of conscience as an insult to God and man; and by association, free speech. From the 1588 papal crusade of Spanish Armada, sent to crush heretic Britain and her Bastard Queen, to the 1605 popish plot to blow up King James parliament, to the papal hand via the United Nations to open the Britain’s borders, highlight a relentless onslaught to bring the nation to submit to a one world order under the papacy.
‘In 1601 the great Queen Elizabeth [1533-1603] passed through Bermondsey Street on one of her many Maying excursions to Greenwich. The bell-ringers at the old church on this occasion rang a merry peal for the munificent sum of sixpence.’ A short account of the Parish of Bermondsey, 1868.
The 16th-17th century were make-or-break centuries. The Jesuit Order was well maned with function and form. King Charles I (1600-1649) was on the throne of England, married to the militant Roman Catholic, Marie Medici’s daughter, Henrietta Maria of France. She was very unpopular in Protestant Britain, and the Church of England refused to crown her queen. Through Charles’ reign (1625–1649) he was ruled by his wife and made arrogant by the Roman Catholic notion of the Divine Right of Kings. He was totally controlled by the “infallible” rigidness of Romanism. History documents him as, politically inept, and deeply “incompetent”; the result of a mind that knows no freedom of conscience.
‘The Jesuits were the advisers and confessors of the ill-starred monarch, Charles I of England, and through their advice oppressed the people and subsequently lost his head…the Jesuits…betrayed and deserted Charles in order that the kingdom might be disintegrated by civil war and render the Jesuit conquest sure.’ Gury’s Doctrines of the Jesuits, 1924, page 569
During Charles’ reign, parliament, made up of non-Catholics became increasingly concerned over the growing oppression under a papal puppet king. A faction, persuaded by Oliver Cromwell’s (1599-1658) arguments, held a court convicting Charles of treason. Although Charles did not recognise the court, that did not stop his arrest and execution by beheading in 1649. His son Charles II contended for the throne but was defeated and fled.
Britain had no crowned monarch, and Cromwell declined parliaments offer to make him King. Instead, in 1653 he took the title, Lord Protector of the Commonwealth of England, Scotland, and Ireland.
It might seem odd for the 16th-17th century Puritans to fix their gaze on May Day. But they were not ignorant; they understood the Jesuits were effectively in control. Parliament, parsons and Christian congregations and communities saw the festivities as an existential threat. But more to the point, to extinguish May Day paganism was in parliament’s grasp. So, they, if not somewhat abruptly, urgently passed laws to correct the papal erring in the land.
It was clear that May Day morals, or lack of them were straight from ancient pagan rituals. The all-night raucous sexual exploits while a-maying, reframed as greenwood marriages, was in stark contrast from scripture. Christians wanted something done about it, pulpit preaching railed against Flora/Maia, often describing her as the Whore of the City of Rome, in the country of Babylon.
‘Her [Flora/Maia/Ishtar] worship brought in a pack of ignorants, atheists, papists, drunkards, swearers, swashbucklers, maid-marians, morrice-dancers, maskers, mummers, May-pole stealers, health-drinkers, gamesters, lewd men, light women.’ Funebria Florae, or the Downfall of the May Games, 1661, Parson Thomas Hall
On 8 April 1644, the sitting members of England’s parliament-committee released An Ordinance to purge England of esoteric Roman Catholicism. They wanted to bring Christian structure back to the rhythm of the week, the seasons, and the year. With May Day only weeks away, it was the first to be purged. Maypoles were removed and banned across the land.
The Ordinance stated:
‘That all and singular May-Poles, that are, or shall be erected, shall be taken down and removed by the Constables, Borsholders, Tything-men, petty Constables, and Churchwardens of the Parishes, and places where the same be.
If any of the said Officers shall neglect to do their Office in the Premisses, within one week after the notice of this Ordinance, every of them, for such neglect shall forfeit Five shillings of lawfull Moneys; and so from week to week, weekly Five shillings more afterwards, till the said MayPole shall be taken down, and removed.’
However, the Jesuits rallied 17th century ANTIFA groups to cause agitation.
‘1648 May 1. This day the Visitors, Mayor, and the chief officer of the well-affected of the University and City spent in zealous persecuting of the young people that followed May-Games, by breaking of Garlands, taking away fiddles from Musicians, dispersing Morrice-Dancers, and by not suffering a green bough to be worn in a hat or stuck up at any door, esteeming it a superstition or rather an heathenish custom.’ Anthony Wood (1632-1995), antiquary (An antiquarian is a student of antiquities, specifically studying history with particular attention to ancient artefacts, archaeological and historic sites, or historic archives and manuscripts)
Such measures were reminiscent of a century earlier when King Henry VIII took authority over Rome. The papacy owned enormous acres of land in Britain and made pagan temples to Jupiter out of so-called Godly places. He actioned the Dissolution of the Monasteries after discoveries of pagan black masses and other debauched rites and rituals; the horrors that few would speak of.
‘To attend a Black Mass at the Vatican is the highest of honours for Satanists…I know for a fact, George H. Bush and Kissinger have attended Black Masses at the Vatican.’ Leo Zagami, former high-level Illuminati member
Henry, did participate in the May Day traditions and the collecting of May dew. In 1515 his first wife, the Roman Catholic, Queen Catherine of Aragon, took him out on May Day morning to collect early morning dew in the woods of Shooters Hill, Royal Borough of Greenwich, London. Pagans believed that May Day dew applied to the face would remove freckles, blemishes and was an elixir to stay aging.
It must be reiterated that, Cromwell’s parliament was enacting the will of the clergy, civic officials and congregations up and down the land who sought to eliminate heathenish norms corrupting good society.
‘The order of them is thus : Against May, Whitsonday, or other time, all the young men and maides, olde men and wives, run gadding over night to the woods, groves, hils, and mountains, where they spend all the night in plesant pastimes ; and in the morning they return, bringing with them birch and branches of trees, to deck their assemblies withall. And no mervaile, for there is a great Lord present amongst them, as superintendent and Lord over their pastimes and sportes, namely, Sathan, prince of hel…I have heard it credibly reported (and that viva voce) by men of great gravitie and reputation, that of fortie, threescore, or a hundred maides going to the wood over night, there have scarsely the third part of them returned home againe undefiled. These be the frutes which these cursed pastimes bring foorth…Yet wee, that would be Christians, think them not amsse. The Lord forgive us, and remoove them from us! The Anatomie of Abuses, 1583, Philip Stubbes, page 144-145 (letters of some words have been modernised for easier reading by A. James)
After Cromwell’s death, in 1660 Charles II gave a pardon to all who had been part of deposing his father. He was placed on the throne by the will of the people who wanted continuity. But they got a king who took the realm back into the arms of Rome.
Charles II (1630-1685) was required by the Jesuit Order to “play the Protestant” while secretly being a Roman Catholic (formalising his allegiance on his deathbed). This ruse shone less light allowing him to undermine Cromwell’s Parliamentary Reforms; it better suited the dialectic. In 1660 he successfully revived May Day celebrations. The pagan festival was back on the calendar. In the following year of 1661, Charles had Cromwell’s body exhumed and posthumously ‘executed’!
Exhuming high-profile Protestants bodies was not a new event for the papacy. The very much-loved English theologian, John Wycliffe’s (1324-30 - 1384) body had been exhumation in 1428. The Papal Council of Constance had declared him a heretic in 1415. The papal inquisition burnt his bones and cast his ashes into the River Swift, Lutterworth, Leicestershire.
The year 1660, Jesuit owned London saw Maypoles erected at every crossway, while Maypoles were installed on village greens under his benevolent call for a “Merry England!” OR was he using coded vocabulary speaking over the understanding of the people? Was he speaking to the pope and his military order, and the ruling class as the elite do today? Was he really calling for a ‘Mary England’, as in, an ‘Ishtar Pagan England’?
The annual event marks the coming of summer and the Celtic fertility festival…The traditional Green Man and May Queen [goddess Diana/Ishtar] are in attendance along with blue and red men and white women. It is unstoppable by flood or fire, you’ll see a lot of this on the night. At the blast of a horn, the drums begin the primal rhythm which will carry us through the next three hours of ritual…The Green Man [god Pan], old and hoary, mounts the Acropolis (the National Monument) [Parthenon of the sun gods] and surveys his domain…They pass through the Fire Arch into another world and visit the camps of each element in turn. Air, Earth, Water and Fire, being presented with a gift by each. The Red Men, born of chaos on this night, are drawn to the White Women, the epitome of order [Jesuit -order out of chaos] …Beltane Fire Festival…revival of age-old Celtic pagan tradition…’ bbc.co.uk
Charles also conspired with the pope to swindle his subjects of land and handing it over to the papacy when he signed the pontifical Cestui Que Vie Act of 1666 - a legal, but not lawful papal land-grab of private property.
‘They [Jesuits] pretended to be converted, and to enter into Protestant churches. They were found in the Reformed Church in France and Holland, and caused grievous and fatal divisions by false doctrine. They were found in the rank of the old English Puritans. This was discovered by a letter from the Jesuit confessor of the King of England to the Jesuit confessor of Louis XIV. “How admirably our people imitate the Puritan preachers,” said he in this intercepted letter. They adapted themselves to all kinds of character. With the Jew they were Jews to gain their object: with the infidel they were sceptics: to the immoral they were the most liberal, and indulgent, until they gained the absolute ascendency over them. Hence they found their way into kings’ courts, and queens ‘boudoirs’. This sect have confessors to the chief crowned heads of Europe. England, France, and the Waldenses under the house of Savoy, felt this to their cost.’ Secret Instructions of the Jesuits, also the Four Vows of the Jesuits, the Oath of Secrecy of 1680, John Walthoe. page 11
May Day festivities remained annual event throughout the Victorian Era with cross dressing of men, particularly chimney sweeps and Morris Dancers. The young Queen Victoria was controlled by the Jesuits and rewarded accordingly, particularly for granting the Order’s entrance into India. The Jesuits masterfully built on Druid paganism with the New Age Movement repackaged from Ancient Mystery Religions by Helen Petrovna Blavatsky in the 1800s, as a countermeasure against England’s Christian base. Pagan religions are now the fasting growing belief systems in Britain.
‘Cross-dressing has a long history in certain Morris dancing traditions, particularly in Molly dancing from East Anglia, where men traditionally wore women’s clothing…often to represent characters like “Maid Marian” [Ishtar]’ google.com
As Britain went into the Edwardian Era, through the Jesuit instigated Enlightenment Period Protestant Christianity was feeling the squeeze of planted doubt, from Charles Darwin’s Theory of Evolution. A theory in the 21st century that is crumbling fast in independent scientific academia.
‘In the process they [Christians] will hopefully reduce and progressively give up their fundamentalism in favor of a global spirituality [Mithraism], the same way as nations in the United Nations have reduced to some extent their national fundamentalism called “sovereignty.”…we must…acquire a new evolutionary wisdom which respects nature…We are entering a thrilling, transcending new global, cosmic phase of evolution in the line indicated by Teilhard de Chardin…’ Robert Muller, Proper Earth Government: A Framework and Ways to Create It, World Business Academy, Global Reconstruction, Volume 19, Issue 8,
Where Roman Catholicism goes so does socialism for it is one and the same. Many countries use May Day for workers-rights protests – surely a choreographed move by an Order deep in the shadows fomenting chaos in otherwise contented societies in lockstep.
“Today, all people of good will recognize the diabolically evil nature of the Fuehrer’s failed regime. What is now desperately needed is a widespread recognition of the fact that the neo-pagan, internationalist-socialist new world order being promoted by and through the United Nations is as militantly anti-Christian, as malevolently totalitarian, and as satanically evil as that jack tyranny of our recent past. This time, its [UN] headquarters is not in Berlin, but in New York City.” ‘Global Tyranny…Step by Step’, 1992, William F Jaspar, P148
The 1905 and 1917 Russian Revolutions, fomented by the Jesuit Order, in America began on May Day. When Wilberforce and his Christian followers forced the ruling class to abolish slavery, run by the Jesuit Order throughout the British dominions, parliament used the “signal” day of May Day 1807, effectively saying to insiders worldwide that they have other routes to slavery than man theft (forbidden in Protestant Bibles).
Paganism as a movement is dedicated to reviving the polytheistic, nature-worship. Today’s pagan religion picks up from pre-Christian Europe and adapting them for the use of people in modern societies as a thin edge of the wedge to when the time is right, produce running cracks to crush papal opposition through dialectic agitation.
‘It’s not the wickedness of the pagan [New World Order] that breaks my heart. It’s the compromise of the Christian [West] that grieves my spirit.’ R. C. Sproul (1939-2017), American theologian, pastor
