15 Century - The Renaissance
The 15th Century saw the flowering of the Renaissance, as scholars, artists, and thinkers returned to the classical culture of Rome and Greece for inspiration and discovered the beauty, dignity, and worth of human life. They also discovered the Greek New Testament, saw the errors of the medieval church, and glory of Christ.
The Tree of Life
Trees are associated in Scripture with the gift of life, God's provision for His people, and their worship of Him and dwelling with Him. Man misuses God's good gift for idolatrous purposes, but in the end, Christ, the Author of Life, died on a tree to give His people everlasting life, so that we might live with Him forever in Paradise.
